Shon Meckfessel is the author of Suffled How It Gush: A North American Anarchist in the Balkans, as well as the essay Standing Challenges to Capitalism in the Balkans in the anthology Confronting Capitalism: Dispatches from a Global Movement. He currently resides in Seattle, where he is studying Arabic in preparation for his next book.
